Description
We are looking for a skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful delivery of IT projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Based in New York, New York, this role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple initiatives while facilitating cross-functional collaboration and ensuring alignment with business objectives. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within the IT software industry.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with organizational objectives and maintain seamless communication.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement strategies to mitigate potential issues while ensuring adherence to deadlines.
Facilitate Agile Scrum practices to improve team efficiency and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Utilize tools such as Atlassian Jira to track project performance and provide transparent reporting to stakeholders.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders by providing regular updates, clear documentation, and transparent communication.
Analyze and interpret complex engineering requirements to align with broader business goals.
Ensure compliance with established processes and standards, including PMP and IT project management best practices.
Continuously enhance knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovative solutions.
Support team development and resolve obstacles to maintain project momentum.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
PMP certification required.
Proficiency in project management tools, particularly Atlassian Jira.
Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
Self-motivated and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous learning and attention to detail.
