Job Description:

Financial Analyst 2 - Finance, Accounting and Procurement

Redmond, WA - Remote

Pay Rate: $28 - $37/hr (dependent on experience)

Duration: 4-5 months. Possible chance for extension, but not guaranteed.

Request Summary:

Location Requirements: 100% remote but needs to be located in Redmond, WA area because candidate will be onsite for the first 2 weeks of onboarding. Remote after onboarding.

Daily Schedule & OT estimate: Monday-Friday, 40 hours; flexibility may be needed mid/late April due to workload. No planned overtime so they will still work 40 hours a week but the hours will flex so there may be some longer and shorter days.

Typical Day in the Role

Purpose of the Team: The team supports the AI Business Solution Area within the client organization.

Copilot Studio: based on guidance from team lead, work on building up a forecasting and planning models for that workload and it's detailed revsums; ensure data is loaded as a starting point and apply drivers to create starting point for forecast and targets by Geo/Segment/Q; Incorporate feedback from team lead for judgments needed to be applied to the splits; ensure final $ numbers are accurately entered in Fusion planning model

Agents - work with Fusion planning model to produce first cuts of numbers; apply judgement aligned with team lead and CSU finance and enter it in Fusion

Key projects: This role will contribute to forecasting guidance and planning for next fiscal year, which includes building entirely new Excel-based planning models from scratch to cascade global targets. The role also contributes to broader strategic work for the AI Business Solutions portfolio, particularly Copilot Studio and Agent

Candidate Requirements

Hard Requirements:

2-4+ years in the following:
  • Advanced Excel experience (Power BI, Power Pivot, etc.)
  • Experience working with large data sets (fluent in handling and analyzing big data to build models, extract insights, and support planning.)
  • Technical Analytical Skills


  • How will Performance be managed:

    Delivering timely planning/forecasting details; feedback from team lead and planning team

    Desired Background:
    • Finance analyst with strong technical skills
    • Consulting or Audit experience as these individuals adapt quickly and handle new environments efficiently.
    • Clear communication


    Opportunity and Challenge Identification:

    Collaboration with EG finance, Team lead and Business Team: Work closely with key stakeholders to continuously fine-tune metrics that measure performance in the most efficient and impactful way. This involves regular communication and collaboration to ensure metrics remain relevant and effective.

    Performance Measurement implemented in drivers for forecast and planning: Develop, align and maintain a set of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track performance over time and integrate them as key drivers in forecast and planning models. Regularly review and update these KPIs to ensure they continue to provide valuable insights.

    Forecasting and Target Setting: Leverage deep product knowledge from team lead, EG finance and GTM teams to contribute to the forecasting and target setting process. The key task will be building a model, maintaining it and producing draft cuts of Copilot Studio and Agents splits that provide realistic and achievable targets/ forecasts, while also pushing the boundaries to drive growth and success. Coordinate results with team lead and CSU finance and ensure all targets land accurately in Fusion planning model.
