Title: Oracle Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Consultant Location: Remote Duration: 12-24 Months
Occasional travel to client sites as needed.
Role Overview:
We're looking for an experienced Oracle S&OP Consultant to join our Oracle Cloud Supply Chain practice. You'll lead and support implementations of Oracle Cloud Sales & Operations Planning, partnering with clients to align demand, supply, and financial plans into a single executable consensus plan that drives revenue, margin, and service-level outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end implementations of Oracle Cloud S&OP, from discovery and design through configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
Run requirement-gathering workshops with Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Operations, and Finance stakeholders, then translate findings into functional design documents.
Configure S&OP measures, levels, dimensions, plan inputs, scenarios, and dashboards to support consensus planning, gap analysis, and what-if modeling.
Integrate S&OP with Oracle Demand Management Cloud, Supply Planning Cloud, Replenishment Planning, and Backlog Management.
Build root-cause analysis views that surface performance gaps across revenue, margin, inventory, and service KPIs.
Support data setup and validation across collections, item attributes, sourcing rules, calendars, and forecast streams.
Build test scripts, lead CRP/SIT/UAT cycles, and prepare training materials and end-user documentation.
Provide post-go-live support, performance tuning, and continuous-improvement recommendations.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal accelerators, methodology assets, and pre-sales activities.
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of Oracle Supply Chain Planning experience, with at least 2 full-cycle implementations of Oracle Cloud S&OP (or strong Demantra S&OP experience plus Cloud project exposure).
Solid functional knowledge of consensus forecasting, scenario planning, product portfolio management, and integrated business planning concepts.
Working knowledge of adjacent Oracle Cloud SCP modules: Demand Management, Supply Planning, Replenishment Planning, Backlog Management, and Global Order Promising.
Hands-on experience with collections, plan inputs, measures, hierarchies, and dashboards.
Strong SQL skills for data validation and reporting; familiarity with OTBI/BI Publisher is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior business stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
Preferred:
Oracle Cloud SCP certifications.
Experience in High Tech, Life Sciences, CPG, Industrial Manufacturing, or Retail/Distribution.
Exposure to OIC integrations and FBDI/ADFdi data loads.
Experience transitioning clients from Demantra/ASCP to Oracle Cloud SCP.
