Title: TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER – FINANCIAL DATA SERVICES
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid-3 days)

Duration: 6-month contract with strong potential for extension or conversion

Job Summary

The Technical Program Manager supports the Financial Data Services Domain by coordinating delivery across multiple Agile teams, managing portfolio processes, and coordinating alignment between business priorities and technical execution. This role partners closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, Architects, and stakeholders to manage dependencies, drive execution, facilitate planning activities, and provide transparency into portfolio performance and delivery outcomes. The successful candidate will synchronize people, teams, and processes to improve the efficiency, predictability, and quality of product roadmap delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute key programs and initiatives to ensure commitments are delivered on time, risks are identified early, and roadblocks are proactively addressed.
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and Architects to support planning, prioritization, dependency management, and execution across multiple Agile teams.
• Manage delivery governance, portfolio processes, risks, dependencies, communications, resource coordination, and executive reporting across the Financial Data Services portfolio.
• Partner with business stakeholders, Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, and enterprise delivery teams to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate Agile planning activities including backlog reviews, PI Planning preparation, roadmap reviews, and delivery tracking.
• Maintain portfolio-level visibility into commitments, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery performance.
• Support Azure DevOps governance, reporting, and process improvements that enable consistent planning and execution across teams.
• Coordinate cross-team initiatives requiring alignment across data engineering, analytics, reporting, platform, and business teams.
• Quickly evaluate and prioritize work based on changing business needs, resource constraints, risks, and deadlines.
• Translate relevant, actionable information into communications appropriate for audiences ranging from delivery teams to executive leadership.
• Facilitate project and program meetings, ensuring accountability, visibility, and alignment across stakeholders.

Job Qualifications

• 5+ years of project, program, or delivery management experience supporting technology, data, or analytics organizations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks, including portfolio planning, dependency management, and iterative delivery practices.
• Proven record of delivering complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of data and analytics platforms, cloud technologies, data engineering concepts, or software development lifecycles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with experience creating executive-level reporting, portfolio dashboards, and delivery metrics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated leadership, influence, and facilitation skills in cross-functional team environments.
• Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Travel as needed (less than 25%).
