Sr Java Developers with Active Secret clearance

We are seeking to hire several Sr Java Developers to join our team working on a multi-year award we have within a large Federal Gov’t agency in the Washington, DC area.  This role is 100% remote.

Must possess an Active Secret level clearance (or higher) to qualify to work on this program.

This position pays a strong salary package with full benefits (including choice of healthcare plans, dental, vision, life insurance, 3 weeks PTO, 11 Paid Federal Holidays, and a matching 401k).

An option for working on an hourly rate is also available for those not needing a full benefits package.

Technical Skills:

·        Java Spring – 7+ years

·        Java Software Development – 7+ years

Role Description:

Responsible for leading the design and development of multiple applications for a large scale Federal IT Program using Java/Spring based REST APIs along with a Web 2.0 framework and a continuous integration environment. Responsible for developing Java/Spring solutions, as well as leading team(s) of software developers in implementing solutions and conducting detailed design reviews.

Minimum Requirements:

·        8+ years of hands-on development experience, including at least 6+ years of Java/Spring development experience

·        Significant experience with developing applications using the Java Spring framework

·        Experience using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git)

·        3 years of work experience with Web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, JSP, etc.)

·        3 years of experience in developing using Agile Scrum methodologies

·        Active Final DoD Secret Security Clearance

Highly Preferred:

·        Local to CO or DC area (not required)

·        Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program

·        Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework
