Overview
Mako Professionals' client, an established Oracle consulting partner, is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud SCM Senior Principal Consultant to join its growing delivery organization as a full-time employee.
This consultant will serve as the functional project leader throughout the entire client engagement, from initial discovery and solution design through implementation, deployment, and post-go-live delivery. The role will focus on Oracle Cloud supply chain and manufacturing initiatives, helping clients improve operational performance, modernize business processes, and maximize their investment in Oracle Cloud applications.
The ideal candidate combines deep Oracle Cloud SCM functional expertise with strong consulting, project leadership, and client relationship skills. This person should be able to translate complex business and technical requirements into practical solutions that are easy for business stakeholders to understand and adopt.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle Cloud SCM projects from initial client discovery through final implementation and delivery.
- Facilitate business process discussions, requirements-gathering sessions, solution workshops, and conference room pilots.
- Design scalable Oracle Cloud SCM solutions that align with client requirements and Oracle best practices.
- Configure, test, validate, and support Oracle Cloud applications throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary functional advisor for client leadership, business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
- Translate complex Oracle functionality into clear business processes and recommendations.
- Lead functional workstreams and coordinate activities across client, onsite, offshore, and technical delivery teams.
- Manage project priorities, milestones, risks, dependencies, and client expectations.
- Support testing, data validation, user training, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership across the project team.
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities to improve business performance through Oracle Cloud solutions.

Required Qualifications
- 10 15 years of consulting experience delivering full-cycle supply chain or manufacturing implementations.
- 10+ years of business or functional experience within supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, or related areas.
- Experience leading multiple Oracle Cloud SCM implementations from discovery through go-live.
- Deep functional experience in at least three Oracle Cloud SCM areas, such as Manufacturing, Cost Management, Inventory Management, Procurement, or Order Management.
- Strong understanding of the Oracle SaaS implementation lifecycle, including:
- Current-state process discovery
- Requirements gathering and traceability
- Future-state process design
- Solution validation
- Conference room pilots
- Configuration
- Testing
- Training
- Deployment
- Post-go-live support
- Previous experience leading functional teams, workstreams, or project delivery activities.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud SCM design standards, leading practices, and standard process flows.
- Experience working within an onsite and offshore delivery model.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
Certifications
- Current Oracle Cloud SCM, Procurement, Manufacturing, or related certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain additional Oracle certifications as required.
