About the Job- We are looking for an experienced Epic Consultant (Tapestry/UM) to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Epic certification, workflow analysis, system configuration, and testing, SQL, reporting tools along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.
Requirements:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Epic Analyst to support the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of Epic applications.
- The Epic Analyst will work closely with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, configure Epic workflows, troubleshoot issues, and support system improvements that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and clinical workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Built, Configure, test, implement, and maintain Epic applications and related systems.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, operational leaders, and IT teams to define system requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation including workflows, build specifications, training materials, and support procedures.
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, optimization projects, and go-live activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors.
- Conduct unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing for new functionality and system changes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, HIPAA regulations, and healthcare industry standards.
- Provide end-user support, training, and ongoing application optimization.
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve usability and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Computer Science, or related field.
- Epic certification in one or more Epic modules (e.g., pic Beaker, Epic UM, Epic Willow, Epic Clarity, Epic Cadence).
- 2–5 years of experience supporting Epic applications in a healthcare environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with workflow analysis, system configuration, and testing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional Epic certifications or proficiency badges.
- Knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, or healthcare analytics platforms.
- Experience supporting hospital operations, ambulatory clinics, or revenue cycle workflows.
- Project management experience or familiarity with Agile methodologies.
