Job Summary

Role Objective Lead and execute the migration from IBM NetCool (OMNIbus) to BigPanda, modernizing legacy event management into an AIOps-driven incident intelligence platform with reduced alert noise, improved correlation, and tighter ITSM integration.

Scope of Work

Assess current IBM NetCool setup (ObjectServer, probes, enrichment, correlation rules)
Design and execute NetCool to BigPanda migration (phased or controlled cutover).
Configure BigPanda ingestion, normalization, duplication, enrichment, and correlation.
Integrate BigPanda with monitoring tools and ITSM (e.g., ServiceNow).
Tune correlation patterns to reduce noise and improve incident accuracy.
Support testing, go live, hypercare, and operational handover.

Must Have Skills (Screening Mandatory)

Hands on BigPanda implementation experience (not just exposure).
Strong IBM NetCool / OMNIbus background (event flow, rules, probes, enrichment).
Proven experience in AIOps / Event Correlation / Incident Intelligence.
ITSM integration experience (ServiceNow preferred).
Scripting & integrations: REST APIs, Python/Shell.
Strong understanding of ITIL-based incident & operations workflows.

Good to Have

Experience with other AIOps tools (Moogsoft, Splunk ITSI, OpsRamp).
Exposure to cloud / hybrid monitoring environments.
Automation or self-healing workflows.
