Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee the technology operations of our organization in Akron, Ohio. This role requires a strategic thinker who can ensure systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate will thrive in managing infrastructure, cybersecurity, software platforms, and vendor relationships while driving innovation and technology adoption.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the performance, reliability, and security of all organizational technology systems and infrastructure.
Collaborate with the managed service provider to manage network infrastructure, server environments, cloud systems, and workstation provisioning.
Maintain and update documentation for network diagrams, system inventories, vendor contracts, and licensing records.
Administer and manage company software platforms, including settlement production systems, document management tools, and communication systems.
Evaluate and implement new software solutions, ensuring seamless integration between existing platforms.
Develop and enforce cybersecurity protocols, including multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, and security awareness training.
Manage compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to data privacy and cybersecurity.
Oversee telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring reliability and uptime for internet services and network connectivity.
Create and deliver training programs for staff to improve adoption of company technologies and workflows.
Identify and implement workflow automation, AI tools, and innovative digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a related field.
Proficiency in Active Directory and backup technologies.
Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies and computer hardware.
Strong understanding of configuration management and system integration.
Proven track record of managing cybersecurity protocols and compliance requirements.
Ability to oversee vendor relationships and evaluate technology solutions.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to train staff and collaborate across departments.
Familiarity with workflow automation and emerging technologies such as AI.
