Senior QA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Philadelphia, PA that is seeking a Senior QA.

Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end manual testing for web applications (functional, regression, exploratory, usability)
* Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring clear coverage and traceability
* Identify, document, and track defects in test/bug tools; partner with developers through triage and resolution
* Perform cross-browser and cross-platform validation to confirm compatibility and user experience consistency
* Participate in requirements and design reviews to surface gaps, ambiguities, and testing risks early
* Validate bug fixes and release candidates, confirming readiness for deployment and reducing production issues
* Mentor and guide junior QA team members on testing strategies, documentation standards, and best practices
* Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and tooling to increase quality and efficiency

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of hands-on manual QA experience, primarily with web-based applications
* Strong experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
* Proven ability to identify, document, and track defects using test/bug management tools (e.g., JIRA or similar)
* Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and cross-browser testing
* Experience validating bug fixes and release candidates in fast-paced environments
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
