IT Manager | Walker, MI

Salary Range: $99,000 - $146,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Walker that are seeking IT Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all IT systems and infrastructure across manufacturing facilities.
• Develop and implement IT strategies to support manufacturing operations and business growth.
• Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.
• Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all manufacturing data and IT assets.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering skill development and high performance.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to identify and address IT needs.
• Manage IT vendor relationships and procurement processes for hardware, software, and services.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to IT and data management.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) specific to manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of operational technology (OT) systems, including SCADA, MES, and industrial control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cybersecurity in an industrial setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing context.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for manufacturing environments.
• Experience with IoT solutions for manufacturing.
