Job Description:We are seeking multiple technicians to support infrastructure build-out inside a large new data center project in Fayetteville, GA. These roles focus on hands-on, construction-based cabling work and are ideal for entry-level technicians who are eager to learn, work with their hands, and grow within the data center and telecommunications field.
Technicians will assist with installing and supporting low-voltage and fiber cabling systems throughout the facility, working alongside experienced leads in an active construction environment. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to large-scale data center builds with consistent work and guaranteed hours.
What You'll Do: - Pull, route, and support fiber and low-voltage cabling.
- Install and support cable using J-hooks, ladder racks, trays, and rings.
- Assist with fiber terminations and basic splicing.
- Follow color codes, labeling, and cable management standards.
- Build and support telecom closets (racks, patch panels, backboards).
- Install basic low-voltage devices.
- Perform fire-stopping and sleeve installations as required.
- Complete daily paperwork (timesheets, work orders, material tracking).
- Follow all safety and quality standards.
- Use basic hand tools provided by the technician.
Schedule: - 40-hour minimum guaranteed.
- Overtime available.
Requirements: - General knowledge in cabling, telecom, or low-voltage work.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in construction environments.
- Comfortable with ladders, lifts, walking long distances, and hauling materials.
- Willingness to learn and be trained on-site.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
Nice to Have Skills: - Experience pulling and/or terminating fiber optic cable.
- Cat5 / Cat6 cabling.
- Punch-downs or crimping.
- Rack and stack or rack assembly.
- Cable testing CCTV or security systems.
- Troubleshooting experience.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
