The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is recruiting a visionary Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager to spearhead operational excellence for a premier precision manufacturing leader. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will serve as the primary architect of quality strategy and the driving force behind a robust culture of iterative improvement. This high-impact role is designed for a technical leader who can bridge the gap between high-level innovation and shop-floor execution, ensuring that every product exceeds the rigorous standards of the energy and industrial sectors.


What You’ll Do

  • Champion the comprehensive Quality function, providing strategic oversight to the QA, QC, and Quality Engineering departments.

  • Synthesize corporate objectives into actionable quality benchmarks and standard operating procedures across all manufacturing workflows.

  • Architect and evolve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure peak performance and adherence to international and customer-specific regulations.

  • Drive the adoption of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma frameworks to minimize process variability and maximize resource efficiency.

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with plant leadership to harmonize process updates with stringent quality expectations.

  • Execute advanced diagnostic methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, and Value Stream Mapping, to resolve complex operational bottlenecks.

  • Mentor internal talent by delivering sophisticated training programs and coaching emerging Lean practitioners through certification.

  • Analyze and report on mission-critical KPIs, including margin health, revenue flow, and delivery precision, to the Senior Management Team.


What You Bring

  • Professional Credentials: Active P. Eng or P.L. Eng designation (APEGA membership or immediate eligibility is mandatory).

  • Industry Expertise: At least 15 years of dedicated experience in QA/QC environments, specifically within high-precision machining or manufacturing.

  • Leadership Pedigree: 10+ years of experience directing multidisciplinary teams and managing high-level performance metrics.

  • Continuous Improvement Mastery: Formal certification in Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) with a proven track record of implementing Kaizen and 5S initiatives.

  • Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of ISO standards and regulatory requirements pertinent to the oil and gas or heavy industrial sectors.

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
