Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboard Development
· Design, develop, and maintain high-quality reports and dashboards using Sigma Computing
· Build and manage Sigma Data Models and semantic layers to support scalable, reusable reporting solutions
· Leverage Sigma AI Builder to accelerate insights, enhance self-service analytics, and improve user experience
Data Modeling & Query Optimization
· Apply deep expertise in dimensional data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas, to ensure analytical accuracy and performance
· Write, tune, and optimize Snowflake SQL queries for reporting and analytics workloads
Reporting Standards & Best Practices
· Define and promote reporting design standards, visualization principles, and usability best practices
· Ensure consistency, scalability, and maintainability across reporting solutions
Stakeholder Collaboration & Solutioning
· Partner with business and technical stakeholders to:
· Gather, analyze, and refine reporting requirements
· Recommend effective reporting frameworks and KPI definitions
· Translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions
· Provide architectural guidance and reporting strategy recommendations
Governance & Leadership
· Guide developers on reporting best practices, performance optimization, and solution architecture
· Support governance initiatives related to reporting standards, semantic modeling, and analytics enablement
· Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics processes and reporting
