Are you a handson Azure Cloud Engineer who thrives in building scalable, secure, and automated cloud platforms? We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps / Cloud Engineer to join our team and lead enterprisegrade cloud transformation initiatives.
Role Summary
As a Senior Azure DevOps / Cloud Engineer, you will architect, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will lead the design of CI/CD pipelines, manage AKS workloads, enforce IaC best practices, and collaborate closely with application, security, and enterprise architecture teams.
This role also provides opportunities to mentor junior engineers and drive cloud modernization across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Azure Cloud Engineering (IaaS & PaaS)
- Design and manage Azure VM, VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, ExpressRoute/VPN, Storage Accounts.
- Architect Azure PaaS solutions: App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor.
- Ensure performance, scalability, availability, and cost optimization.
AKS Cluster Design & Management
- Deploy and manage AKS clusters for Dev, QA, and Production.
- Node pool management, upgrades, autoscaling, and multizone deployments.
- Manage Docker/Kubernetes workloads, Helm charts, ingress, secrets, monitoring, and security.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Build reusable Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure.
- Manage state files, workspaces, and environment segregation.
- Integrate Terraform into Azure DevOps pipelines with strong IaC governance.
Azure DevOps & CI/CD
- Design and maintain Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for build & release automation.
- Manage Git workflows, Azure Repos, branching strategies, and release approvals.
- Enable automated testing, security scanning (DevSecOps), and compliance.
Security, Monitoring & Operations
- Implement security best practices: RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, Private Endpoints, NSGs.
- Configure monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud, pipeline, and production issues.
- Participate in oncall support as needed.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor junior engineers and support technical upskilling.
- Partner with architects, developers, and business teams.
- Contribute to cloud standards, templates, and automation initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, Terraform, Azure IaaS/PaaS, and AKS
- Deep understanding of CI/CD, Git, YAML pipelines
- Solid grounding in networking, security, and cloud architecture
- Experience supporting production/enterprise cloud environments
Good to Have
- Azure Certifications: AZ104, AZ305, DevOps Engineer Expert
- Kubernetes Certifications: CKA / CKAD
- Experience with Helm, Ansible, Bash/PowerShell scripting
- Exposure to hybrid/multicloud environments
- Experience with enterprise or regulated environments

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
