Role : Cloud Architect

Location: Remote

Experience: 15 30 years | 10 25 years in AWS Cloud & DevOps

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Strategy

• Define and drive overall AWS cloud architecture strategy for client engagements.
• Perform AWS Landing Zone and Cloud Foundation Assessments to ensure readiness, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Create scalable, secure, highavailability cloud architectures aligned with client business goals.

Cloud Migration Leadership

Lead migration programs using:

• Cloud Migration Factory
• AWS Application Migration Service (MGN)
• AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)
• AWS DataSync

Conduct portfolio and wave planning with tools like ModelizeIT, including:

• Application assessment
• Dependency mapping
• Migration wave planning

DevOps & Automation

• Integrate DevOps practices into cloud architectures to enable seamless CI/CD pipelines.
• Advocate and implement automation for deployment, monitoring, IaC, and cloud operations.
• Use tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and modern automation frameworks.

Client Engagement & Leadership

• Act as a trusted advisor offering expert guidance on modern cloud trends and best practices.
• Lead technical discussions, workshops, and presentations with internal and client teams.
• Facilitate group sessions, manage crossfunctional teams, and deliver architectural recommendations with clarity and impact.
• Create models and graphical abstractions based on The Enterprise Framework .

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 15 20 years of overall IT experience, with 8 10+ years in cloud architecture & DevOps.
• Proven expertise with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud architecture.
• Strong background in DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience in onpremise to AWS cloud migration.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master s degree in a related field.
• Relevant certifications: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, DevOps.
• Consulting environment experience.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in automation tools for infrastructure provisioning & configuration management.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
