Job Title: Director of Revenue Cycle Analytics

Compensation Range: $200,000 - $235,000 Base + Bonus and Full-time Employee Benefit
ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE
Medix is currently seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle Analytics. This is an exciting full-time opportunity with one of our Health System clients, headquartered in New York's Upper East Side. This individual will be building and executing on a Healthcare Data Science / AI roadmap, geared towards commercialization and cost-savings.
Our Client is centralizing its Revenue Cycle analytics to transition from traditional reporting to advanced predictive modeling and AI-driven automation. As the Director of Revenue Intelligence, this role will pioneer AI use-cases within the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) department. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role initially, tasked with building the strategic roadmap and managing AI vendor integrations before hiring the team required to scale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serving as the founding member of the Data Science team
- Refining a data-driven Data Science roadmap and presenting to executive leadership to get buy-in.
- Developing ML Models geared towards commercialization and marketing use cases
- Customizing LLMs and AI Agents to integrate into electronic health record (EHR) work queues.
- Assessing current data ingestion pipelines and refactoring them for long-term effectiveness within a Microsoft Azure and Databricks environment.
- Identifying and prioritizing high-value AI use cases (e.g., denials, AR aging, claims lag) to justify future staffing and resource investment.
- Translating complex technical analyses into actionable strategies for executive leadership
- Acting as the primary voice for data-driven decision-making within the revenue cycle.
REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be local to the NYC Metro area and willing to work onsite 3 days / week
- Must have prior Health Care Provider / Health System experience
- Must be familiar with Hospital Revenue Cycle and Charge Capture.
- AI / Machine Learning experience (Python)
