We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT integration, due diligence, and strategic planning related to mergers and acquisitions. You will play a critical role in evaluating, executing, and integrating technology assets to support our company's growth and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead assess Information Technology (IT) opportunities and risks in the context of M&A, including integration and separation of platforms, systems, and technology; develop actionable plans and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the technology performance of complex organizations, including front-to-back office systems, and develop strategies for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and digital transformation.
  • Provide program management (IT integration, IT separation) and strategic planning to support the integration or separation of IT operations during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, especially in areas such as core infrastructure, and risk systems.
  • Oversee onshore outsourcing of high-cost IT functions, support renegotiation of key vendor contracts (e.g., ERP platforms, cloud services), and identify opportunities to enhance IT governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive the development and presentation of final deliverables, including technology due diligence reports, integration/separation roadmaps, and IT operating model designs.
  • Support go-to-market strategies, ensure quality delivery of engagements, and eventually build out a team and support development of junior team members.

Qualifications
  • Minimum five years of recent experience in IT M&A with a proven track record of driving IT transformation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in leading IT-focused M&A projects with experience in at least two of the following: system integration, platform migration, IT architecture modernization, or regulatory technology implementation.
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following: post-merger IT integration, carve-out separation, process reengineering, or IT risk and compliance.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as need to support M&A efforts as needed.
  • Self-starter.
  • 100% in office requirement.
