Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking an M365 / SaaS Engineer (L3) to provide advanced engineering support for Microsoft 365 services and SaaS platform integrations. This position is responsible for administering, securing, and optimizing Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID (Azure AD), and integrated SaaS applications.

How you will make an impact

• Administer and configure Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) including user provisioning, group lifecycle, and conditional access policies.
• Support Microsoft Intune for device compliance, M365 integrations, and conditional access.
• Manage SaaS application integrations including SSO, SAML, SCIM, and identity lifecycle workflows.
• Administer SaaS licensing, user/role provisioning, and perform troubleshooting for access and authentication issues.
• Implement and maintain Microsoft Purview compliance policies, including DLP, retention, and sensitivity labeling.
• Configure and support Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Office 365.
• Manage Conditional Access, MFA policies, and identity protection workflows.
• Administer Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and role-based access controls for secure operations.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation workflows to support M365 and SaaS operations.
• Support Microsoft Graph API integrations and automated operational processes.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, runbooks, engineering standards, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Share knowledge with cross-functional teams and contribute to operational maturity and best practices.

What you will need to succeed

• Strong experience administering and engineering Microsoft 365 cloud services in enterprise environments.
• Advanced understanding of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and M365 service architecture.
• Expertise in Entra ID, user lifecycle management, conditional access, identity governance, and MFA.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting SaaS SSO/SAML integrations and cloud identity issues.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, DLP, sensitivity labels, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Defender for Endpoint/Office 365, security baselines, and threat mitigation controls.
• Intermediate skills in PowerShell scripting, automation, and Microsoft Graph API usage.
• Ability to document technical procedures clearly and maintain structured operational documentation.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex identity, security, or service configuration issues.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience with Microsoft 365 administration and SaaS platform engineering.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, SC-300, AZ-800, or equivalent.
• Experience managing enterprise identity integrations (SAML, OAuth, SCIM).
• Experience with automation frameworks using PowerShell or Graph API.
• Understanding of Zero Trust security frameworks, cloud security principles, and identity governance.
• Experience supporting global, multi-tenant, or hybrid cloud environments.
