Workday HRIS Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Workday HRIS Functional Expert to support the implementation and ongoing operations of a new Workday HRIS solution for our client This role will partner with HR and business teams to help drive successful deployment, configuration, testing, rollout, and post-go-live support.

This is initially a contract opportunity with potential to convert to a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end Workday HRIS implementation and operational support
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions
  • Configure Workday business processes, workflows, security, and organizational structures
  • Support testing, deployment, data migration, and user training activities
  • Provide functional expertise across modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence
  • Assist with issue resolution, process optimization, and ongoing system enhancements

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience implementing and supporting Workday HRIS solutions
  • Experience with full lifecycle Workday implementations
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and HRIS best practices
  • Experience with configuration, testing, reporting, and integrations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

This role is open to W2 or those seeking Corp-Corp employment. The salary range for this role is $123 - $145k. For corp-Corp rates please contact the recruiter.
