Summary

Job Title: Cloud Architect
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid 2 days onsite from Day 1)
Duration: 6 months contract with possible extension
Interview Mode: In-person interview required

Additional Details
Hybrid role - candidates must be able to work onsite two days per week from Day 1.
Local candidates strongly preferred. Non-local candidates must be willing to relocate at their own expense and attend an in-person interview.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, build, and operate production workloads in AWS and Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and platform reliability, along with excellent communication skills.

Required Skills & Experience
5-6+ years of hands-on AWS experience building and operating production workloads
Elastic Beanstalk
EKS, EC2, RDS
VPC, IAM, S3
CloudWatch, Secrets Manager
3+ years of Kubernetes experience (EKS preferred)
Helm, kubectl
Ingress (ALB / NGINX)
Horizontal Pod Autoscaling (HPA)
Troubleshooting pods, services, and networking
Strong Docker expertise
Multi-stage builds
Image hardening
Amazon ECR
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
