We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to support enterprise data protection and scanning initiatives within a large financial services environment. This role will focus on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), data security scanning, scan result validation, stakeholder engagement, and scanning tool optimization to support enterprise cybersecurity and information protection programs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with data discovery and classification tools, governance processes, and large-scale data environments while collaborating across security, engineering, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities



  • Support enterprise cybersecurity and information protection scanning initiatives
  • Configure, execute, analyze, and validate data security scans and classification results
  • Collaborate with Information Protection Engineering teams to improve scan accuracy and optimize scanning tools
  • Partner with data platform and application owners to validate findings, answer questions, and drive remediation efforts
  • Track and follow up on scan result dispositioning and remediation activities
  • Support governance, risk, and compliance reporting and escalation processes
  • Create and maintain documentation including process flows, requirements, and audit-ready artifacts
  • Use workflow and reporting tools such as Jira, PowerBI, and Tableau to manage requests, dashboards, and reporting
  • Support data ingestion, transformation, and ETL-related analysis activities
  • Attend key meetings, capture actionable notes, and support cross-functional coordination
  • Utilize approved AI tools for research, summarization, analysis, and operational support while ensuring compliance with company policies and data handling standards

Required Qualifications



  • 4+ years of Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
  • Experience working with data discovery, classification, and scanning tools (e.g., Securiti.ai or similar platforms)
  • Experience within large enterprise or financial services environments handling large-scale data
  • Strong understanding of information security policies, governance, and compliance processes
  • Experience analyzing and validating scan results, including false positive/negative analysis
  • Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with workflow and reporting tools including Jira, PowerBI, and Tableau
  • Knowledge of data processing, ETL concepts, and data analysis methodologies
  • Strong documentation and process design skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent deliverables

Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with AI-based classification and document scanning tools
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with data automation, visualization, and reporting solutions
  • Understanding of AI governance, data privacy, and responsible AI usage
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across organizational levels
