Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team within the Services Technology department. This role involves creating innovative technology solutions for Account Opening (AO), a strategic growth area, and providing document management, workflow, and services to Wealth Management clients. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong development skills, capable of architecting and designing complex business processes, and collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: - Develop and guide project teams through the full lifecycle of development, including requirements gathering, design, and implementation.
- Deliver high-quality code and write robust unit test cases using JMeter.
- Architect and design complex business processes, providing solutions to business problems.
- Collaborate and lead discussions, offering expert opinions on design and implementation.
- Enhance and fix existing systems, working closely with users to resolve issues and answer questions.
- Participate in design reviews and peer code reviews.
- Understand the build and deployment process and troubleshoot live issues.
- Build test automation suites using JMeter and ensure strong understanding of testing frameworks.
Qualifications: - 5-7 years of experience in Java backend engineering with Java 11+ and proficiency in Java 21 features.
- Expertise in Spring Boot 2/3, Spring Web, Data JPA, Validation, Scheduling, and REST API design/documentation.
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/Oracle/SQL Server), schema design, and query optimization.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit 5, Mockito, and Test containers.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes using TeamCity and code quality tools like SonarQube.
- Understanding of containers/Kubernetes basics, config management, and GitOps workflows.
- Experience with observability tools like Splunk/Dynatrace for logs, metrics, and traces.
- Secure coding practices, including authN/Z, enterprise network patterns, and building secure services.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and time zones.

Pay Range: $60 - $77.30/hour on W2
