Job Description
We are seeking a ETL Developer (SSIS/SSRS) to join our dynamic team supporting the client account. The role focuses on software development and testing for data analytics. The candidate must work well in a team or independently, handle multiple priorities, and adapt to changing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS and related SQL Server components.
- Develop and optimize stored procedures, jobs, and reports using SSRS.
- Execute ad-hoc SQL queries to support analytics and operational needs.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including testing and code reviews.
- Mentor team members on ETL processes, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and deliver requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of development with SSIS, SSRS, stored procedures, and job scheduling (Windows and SQL Server).
- 5+ years using ad-hoc SQL to query databases.
- Experience with relational databases, including SQL Server; Oracle and DB2 are a plus.
- Experience with version control software.
- Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Strong writing and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- UNIX scripting and VI/VIM editor familiarity.
- Knowledge of COBOL, JCL, and TSO/ISPF for mainframe activities.
- Healthcare industry experience; Medicaid knowledge preferred.
