Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Research Associate III/Senior Research Associate for an On-Site position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Tucson, AZ. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity. Summary: This role is responsible for conducting laboratory experimentation and scientific activities for research, development, and manufacturing projects. The position involves designing experimental plans, executing bench experiments, analyzing data, and preparing technical reports within a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities: - Conduct research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experimentation
- Design experimental plans to support project objectives
- Execute bench experiments, making detailed and general observations and analyzing data
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses
- Act independently for developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria
- Identify and implement improvements to work processes and laboratory environment
- Work on extremely complex problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables
- Participate or lead cross-functional technical teams
- Troubleshoot problems and institute corrective action
- Prepare and present experimental procedures and results to teams
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree
- For Research Associate III: 4 years of relevant experience post-college
- For Senior Research Associate: 6 or more years of relevant experience post-college OR a Master's degree with 1 year of experience
- Please note: Candidates with a Ph.D. will be considered overqualified for this role
Desired skills: - Industry experience
- Experience with Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH)
- Works well in a team environment by being a productive project team member
- Suggests creative solutions to problems and provides input to project planning
Pay range: up to $42.68 per Hour
