QA Engineer with Playwright

Introduction

This position is for a QA Engineer with expertise in Playwright test automation. The QA Engineer will be responsible for simplifying End-to-End (E2E) testing by utilizing Playwright's built-in auto-waiting, isolation, and fast browser execution capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure the quality of web applications
  • Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify testing requirements and scenarios
  • Execute test scripts, analyze results, and report defects to the development team
  • Conduct regression testing and performance testing as needed
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and provide feedback on product quality

Requirements

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Playwright test automation
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript for test script development
  • Experience with End-to-End (E2E) testing methodologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other test automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
  • Knowledge of web technologies and browser compatibility testing
  • Certifications in software testing or quality assurance
