We are looking for a Project Manager for a long-term, multi-year ONSITE contract opportunity in Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities:
• Manage components of highly complex and visible IT projects and/or program initiatives, with a strong emphasis on Digital Delivery and AI-enabled solutions.
• Follow project management methodologies and governance processes to ensure delivery of work products on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with end-users, key stakeholders, vendors, and internal IT teams to gather requirements, provide status updates, and ensure successful implementation of deliverables.
• Drive digital delivery and AI projects from pilot through production, including governance and compliance checkpoints.
• Manage and maintain timelines across multiple concurrent projects.
• Identify, track, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues.
• Prepare and present executive-level project communications and reporting.
• Oversee systems integration delivery from third-party vendors through acceptance and project closure.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and mediate conflicting business requirements.
• Create and maintain key project artifacts including project timelines, risk & issue logs, communication plans, and stakeholder registers.
• Act as the primary escalation point for vendors and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
• Ensure project scope is delivered while optimizing schedule, cost, and resources.
• Facilitate large group meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to develop technical specifications and supporting documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate across all levels including executive leadership
• Experience driving digital delivery and AI-enabled projects from pilot to production
• Implement Enterprise Systems Integration projects
• Manage vendor-led delivery and contract deliverables through project closure
• Ability to mediate conflicting business requirements and drive consensus
• Hands-on project management experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
You:
• 7+ years experience managing all phases of large and complex technical projects
• 7+ years experience with IT SDLC processes
• 7+ years experience identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks and issues
• 7+ years experience creating and maintaining project artifacts (Project Timeline, Risk & Issue Log, Communication Plan, Stakeholder Register, etc.)
• 7+ years experience preparing and presenting executive-level project communications
• 7+ years experience gathering requirements from business divisions
• 7+ years experience facilitating large group meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• 7+ years experience collaborating with technical and functional teams to develop technical specifications
• 5+ years experience implementing Enterprise Systems Integration
• Experience working with State of Texas government agencies, preferred.
• PMP and/or CBAP certification, preferred.
• Agile Coach and/or Scrum Master certification, preferred.
