The Software Engineer 3 will serve as a technical leader within the Software Engineering organization, contributing to moderately complex engineering initiatives and supporting large-scale planning efforts. This role requires strong hands-on engineering skills, GenAI utilization, DevSecOps expertise, and Agile delivery experience. The position involves collaborating with engineering teams, guiding junior developers, improving testing processes through Shift Left practices, and researching emerging technologies to support strategic initiatives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams and junior developers
Develop engineering solutions using modern best practices, including BDD/TDD and Shift Left philosophies
Utilize Generative AI capabilities to enhance engineering efficiency and solution design
Support and enhance end-to-end DevSecOps automation pipelines and enforce quality gates
Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinements, reviews)
Conduct research into emerging technologies and evolving industry standards
Communicate technical strategies, designs, and findings in clear, user-friendly language
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve moderately complex engineering challenges
Prioritize and execute development tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Provide recommendations for process re-engineering and efficiency improvements (when applicable)
