Summary

Location: Lansing, MI
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite Wednesdays and Thursdays required from Day 1. No remote-only option.)
Employment Type: Contract
Interview Mode: Virtual via MS Teams Video (Screen sharing may be required).
Documentation: Submission requires a cover sheet, 2 3 professional references, and a resume limited to 4 5 pages.

Core Responsibilities

Security & Access Management: Manage security requests for BO, Oracle, and CMOD; perform rigorous security audits and maintain automated security forms.
Business Objects (BO) Operations: Update and optimize IDT universes, conduct environment health checks, and provide Tier 1/2 customer support for report issues.
Data & DevOps: Develop SQL and batch scripts for data movement; validate and balance HR data loads; support version control and configuration automation.
PowerPlatform Maintenance: Enhance and maintain existing Power BI dashboards, PowerApps, and Power Automate workflows to streamline agency data integration.
Secondary Support: Provide backup code maintenance for .NET development projects and specialized automation tasks.

Required Experience & Skills

Business Objects: Expert knowledge of BO security, universe design (IDT), and report deployment.
Scripting & SQL: Advanced proficiency in writing SQL queries and batch scripts for operational tasks.
PowerPlatform: Hands-on experience maintaining Microsoft PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
Security Administration: Proven background in access management, form processing, and security auditing.
Documentation: Ability to translate complex technical workflows into clear, concise system procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Environments: Experience with MIDB (Oracle), CMOD, and high-volume HR data.
Development: Familiarity with .NET development and basic code maintenance.
Public Sector: Experience supporting government or highly regulated environments.
