Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Manage and support virtualized environments (VMware vSphere) for server infrastructure and critical manufacturing applications.
• Oversee network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, ensuring high availability and performance for production systems.
• Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical manufacturing data and ensure business continuity.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues impacting manufacturing operations.
• Monitor system performance and security, identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact production.
• Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and efficient support.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) or operational technology (OT) and their integration with IT systems.
• Experience with cybersecurity best practices, data backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA or other industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with ISA-95 or similar manufacturing IT frameworks.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies in a production setting.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support shop floor applications.
