Role Description: 

The Qlik Consultant supports the Warehouse Utilization program by developing advanced Qlik applications that transform complex warehouse data into clear, actionable insights. This role is focused on developing tools to help clients understand their space usage, identify opportunities to optimize storage, support new missions, reduce cost, and inform other strategic planning requirements. The consultant is expected to work across multiple data sources, build reliable data models, and translate analytical and business requirements into intuitive, compelling dashboards. This role requires handson expertise in advanced Qlik development, frontend customization, and visual storytelling that enables users to confidently act on their warehouse data.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and refine Qlik dashboards that translate business requirements into visually compelling and analytically accurate solutions.

·         Integrate productdriven requirements and benchmark dashboard capabilities against external best practices to ensure modern, competitive designs.

·         Apply advanced Qlik customization using CSS, content libraries, themes, and external extensions to build polished, usercentric interfaces.

·         Manage and model data from multiple sources, maintaining organized relationships and ensuring reliable, validated metrics.

·         Independently interpret functional or business requests and convert them into visual narratives that convey the right analytical story.

·         Improve and debug existing dashboards, validate metric accuracy, refine storytelling, and enhance overall usability.

·         Support deployment and publishing across different Qlik hosting environments, working with platform teams to resolve environmentspecific issues.

Required Skills

·         Deep, handson expertise with Qlik development including scripting, advanced visualization, and frontend customization.

·         Strong proficiency with CSS, themes, content libraries, and integration of advanced Qlik extensions.

·         Experience modeling data from multiple sources and validating metrics against source systems.

·         Ability to work independently and translate ambiguous or highlevel requirements into effective dashboard designs.

·         Demonstrated capability to improve, redesign, and troubleshoot existing Qlik dashboards.

·         Strong communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.

·         Experience supporting crossplatform publishing and resolving Qlik environment or version compatibility issues.
