Overview:
Quartz is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead diverse projects across business and IT domains, with a strong focus on data integrity, reporting, and organizational transformation. This role offers autonomy, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the opportunity to influence processes and tools as we transition to an Agile mindset and explore AI integration. Conversion salary of 77-96K, 3-6 month contract to hire. 100% remote (not from CA or NY) with travel to Madison once per year (reimbursed)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple projects (2-3 concurrently) across software, business operations, and IT lenses.
Drive project delivery while supporting Agile transformation and foundational PM practices.
Collaborate with internal teams (Digital & Technology, Product Owners, Sales & Marketing, Finance) and external vendors (Epic).
Ensure effective communication across all organizational levels, including executives.
Contribute to process improvements, data workstreams, and adoption of AI tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
Proven project management experience with ability to articulate project scope and size.
Strong background in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies; ability to support transformation.
Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to influence and maintain transparency and accountability.
Highly Preferred:
Epic experience (Reporting, Tapestry, etc.)-many projects touch Epic systems.
Familiarity with Microsoft project management tools; comfort with AI tools (Copilot).
Nice-to-Have (in order):
2 years of Epic Systems experience
Scrum Master experience.
Healthcare insurance or process improvement experience.
Organizational Change Management (OCM).
Additional Context:
Organization is in early stages of AI adoption with significant investment and upskilling planned.
Heavy focus on data integrity, trust, and reporting throughout the year.
Projects vary widely-software and business initiatives prioritized over infrastructure.
Budgets approved for major data workstreams.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
