Description: Our client is currently seeking a BWC: Technical Specialist 4

Location: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

Interview Type: In-person

Experience Required: 10+ years

Minimum Qualifications (Required - 10 years)

GEN development and application expertise
Database design and data modeling
Mainframe and distributed platform knowledge
SAS and reporting tools proficiency
Scripting and automation skills
Batch scheduling and operations management
TS4-level analytical and leadership capabilities

Preferred Qualifications (Desired - 10 years)

Technical writing and business requirements analysis for GEN, Reports Composer, SOA Composer, and Crystal Reports
Requirements validation against business rules, actuarial, and payment logic
Experience architecting GEN-based solutions for rating, reserving, payroll/premium, and employer program functions
Collaboration with data/business analysts to design normalized data models
Applying QA principles to GEN-based systems
Complex problem solving across multi-system dependencies and cross-platform data flows
Experience in large IT environments (100+ staff) with structured SDLC processes
Supporting modernization initiatives involving Oracle, Windows batch, and distributed processing

Role Expectations

Lead technical initiatives with strong analytical and leadership skills
Ensure alignment of IT solutions with business requirements
Drive modernization and automation across platforms
Mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams
