Job DetailsWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced QA/QC Manager - Mechanical to join our team. This exciting role will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the company's Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) processes. The successful candidate will be involved in the continuous improvement of our quality management systems and will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the company's QA/QC procedures and systems.
- Conduct regular audits of the company's systems, processes, and products both internally and externally to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Work closely with the production team to identify any potential quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Lead the team in the investigation of customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
- Collect and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy.
- Train and guide staff on QA/QC procedures and policies to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Review suppliers purchase orders and establish supplier quality requirements.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure legal compliance.
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
- Monitor risk management activities.
- Responsible for document management systems.
- Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role in the Engineering industry, with a focus on mechanical products.
- Extensive knowledge of QA/QC methodologies and standards.
- Proven experience in conducting both internal and external audits.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and how to implement and improve them.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in data analysis and statistical interpretation.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database management systems.
- Certifications such as Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma preferred.
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA/QC.
- Attention to detail.
- Data collection, management and analysis.
- Problem analysis and problem solving.
- Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other industry-specific standards.
