Job Title: Oracle OCI Cloud Engineer
Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities:
· Design and manage Oracle OCI environments, including database, middleware, and infrastructure components
· Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications and ORDS services
· Configure and administer Oracle WebLogic Server and related technologies
· Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and conversions
· Implement and manage backup, recovery, and replication strategies using RMAN and other tools
· Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection
· Monitor and optimize database performance, implementing tuning recommendations
· Implement and automate routine tasks using shell scripting and tools like Ansible
· Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless application deployment
· Proactively identify and resolve potential issues, providing timely support
· Document and train on best practices for Oracle OCI environment management
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7 Years Oracle Grid Control to include version 13c
7 Years Oracle WebLogic 12c/fusion middleware
5 Years Oracle Apex administration and support
10 Years Oracle DB migration from Solaris to Linux (database 12c/11g)
10 Years Oracle database backup/restore/RMAN/dataguard
10 Years Oracle performance tuning/database maintenance/management
10 Years On-call production support
3 Years Oracle cloud setup/AWS/Azure administration
5 Years Windows/SQL server/IIS administration
