Role: Sr. DevOps Engineer
Location: Dallas TX 
 
 
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to build, maintain, and optimize our software development and deployment infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and system reliability. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and improve system performance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor application and infrastructure health, performance, and availability.
  • Implement security best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance controls.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response activities.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
  • Maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or System Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of networking, security, and system administration concepts.
  • Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or equivalent).
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of security automation and DevSecOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
