Summary

Role Summary
The Managed File Transfer (MFT) Engineer - L3 provides day-to-day operational support for enterprise file transfer platforms. This role focuses on monitoring, incident resolution, and routine maintenance of secure file transfer services. The engineer will also assist with migration and automation efforts under the guidance of team members. This is an operations and support role, not an architecture or platform ownership position. This is a long term W2 contract opportunity. Work schedule is hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote in Charlotte, Dallas, Phoenix, or Minneapolis.

Description
Outline and implement product upgrades.
Contribute to the analysis of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements.
Test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices.
Participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business.
Generate documentation, operational policies, and procedures, as well as documentation.
Use monitoring tools, such as Grafana, for business application and operations teams.
Contribute to the testing of business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements.
Participate in daily Risk and Control flow of Compliance, focusing on policies and procedures.
Collaborate a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
6+ months of experience working with HTTPS, HSH, and SHS protocols, including validating secure connections,
Experience with reviewing certificates, or supporting encrypted data transfer workflows.
Exposure to managed file transfer tools such as Axway SecureTransport, Connect:Direct/NDM, or SFTP platforms.
Foundational understanding of networking concepts, including SFTP/FTP basics, TCP/IP, port testing, and certificates.
Experience communicating technical issues clearly, demonstrated through support interactions, group projects, or ticket documentation
Ability to produce clear written documentation, such as incident summaries, operational notes, or procedural updates.
Bachelor's in computer science or related field preferred but not required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $53.09 - $58.00/hr.
