Job Details

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee daily administrative and accounting operations for our growing organization. This is an excellent long-term career opportunity with a stable and established company seeking someone who wants to grow and build a lasting career with the organization.

The incoming Office Manager will work closely with the current employee during a comprehensive 3-month transition and training period to ensure a smooth handoff of responsibilities and long-term success in the role.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong administrative and accounting background who thrives in a fast-paced, blue-collar or manufacturing-oriented environment. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, trucking, logistics, or distribution environments are highly preferred.

Schedule
  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • No weekends

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day office operations and administrative functions
  • Oversee sales tax reporting and compliance activities
  • Support and coordinate the accounting team
  • Calculate, track, and tabulate sales commissions accurately
  • Maintain organized records, reports, and documentation
  • Assist with invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and general accounting functions
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal staff
  • Utilize ERP systems, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office applications daily
  • Support leadership with reporting, scheduling, and operational coordination
  • Ensure smooth communication and workflow between departments

Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an Office Manager, Accounting Manager, Administrative Manager, or similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience handling sales tax reporting and commission calculations
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
  • Manufacturing, trucking, logistics, distribution, or other blue-collar industry experience strongly preferred
