Summary

**  This position will be hired on a contract to hire basis. The client prefers candidates that are local to the Minneapolis, MN area. They may consider someone that isn't local, if the candidate will relocate at their own expense. All candidates must be able to be hired without any sponsorship. No third parties allowed for this role. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of robust Salesforce B2B Commerce storefronts, focusing on catalog structure, pricing, promotions, and buyer account management.
  • Develop and customize Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC), while integrating with external systems through APIs.
  • Collaborate with internal development teams to ensure seamless integration of solution components, addressing technical dependencies.
  • Conduct code reviews, uphold best practices, and troubleshoot complex issues to maintain high software quality standards.
  • Partner with business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams to clarify eCommerce requirements.
  • Engage in project planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies, contributing insights on architecture and technical feasibility.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance Salesforce applications, crafting comprehensive documentation for design, testing, and programming efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce security, governance, and industry standards in all development activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience with Salesforce development.
  • Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Experience in developing custom applications on the Salesforce platform, including API integrations and Lightning Flows.
  • Familiarity with Gearset and Azure Dev Ops for CI/CD processes.
  • Experience with both Agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Understanding of B2B eCommerce and community sites.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce's core features and offerings such as Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification.
  • 7+ years of Salesforce experience.
