Our client is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst in Smyrna, GA
Role Description
Supervise and manage sales orders, analyze, and provide reports on product availability and sales data.
Support order management, especially during month-end and quarter-end closings.
Review, release, and process manual/EDI orders in Value Trak and SAP, configuring the order management system toward automation.
Drive local initiatives for process excellence and operational improvements.
Collaborate with 3PL specifics, ensuring timely stock delivery to the warehouse.
Resolve system discrepancies due to EDI interface for Trade Product, PAP & samples inventory with 3PL vendors.
Undertake Continuous Improvement projects to achieve predetermined project objectives.
Assist with the rollout of Supply Chain and Operations support system infrastructure (supply chain manual).
Provide consultation and resolution to key stakeholders on inventory adjustments regarding SAP postings.
Lead report conversion from Excel to Qlik, project management, and interfacing with other departments.
Apply knowledge of BI and metadata systems to work with complex data sets.
Utilize statistics in supply chain management.
Understand Specialty Drug Distribution, Wholesale and Retail Distribution, and the electronic data interchange (EDI) process.
Reporting and KPI, prepare or/and monitor internal KPIs (product availability, days OOS, obsoletes, OTIF, forecasting accuracy) and report to group (timely-correct and complete)
Identify improvement opportunities in the areas of quality, cost, and service for the local SC function
Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and financial policies in all operational activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address inventory requirements.
Identify and address process gaps to align inventory levels with realistic requirements.
Handle compliance and license processing as required.
Support Inventory Control related activities.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or other relevant fields.
7-10 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management.
Expert in Excel. SAP, ValueTrack, Qlik skills preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organization and time-management abilities.
Self-motivated and self-directed.
Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization and follow-up skills.
