PRODUCTION PLANNING (WITH STRONG MM–PP INTEGRATION FOCUS)• Hands-on experience in SAP PP module in ECC environment, primarily from
AMS support and enhancement projects• Strong understanding of
end-to-end MM–PP integrated processes, including material planning, procurement, and production execution
• Experience in core PP processes:
- Demand Management
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Planned Orders & Production Orders
- Order Release, Confirmation, and Closure
• Strong experience in
MM–PP integration, including:
- MRP-driven procurement (PR/PO creation from MRP)
- Availability checks and material staging for production
- Reservations and goods movements linked to production orders
- Backflushing and consumption postings
- Subcontracting integration between PP and MM
• Experience working with PP master data tightly integrated with MM:
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Work Centers
- Routings
- Production Versions
• Experience supporting PP integration with:
- MM (material planning, procurement, inventory)
- WM (production supply / staging where applicable)
- FI/CO (production consumption and settlement postings)
• Analyze production and material planning issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with business, MM teams, and ABAP teams for fixes and enhancements
• Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, and support UAT for MM–PP related changes
