Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere / BDC / BW Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise data warehousing and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and BDC-based data migration, with the ability to build scalable data models, optimize performance, and support business analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
SAP Datasphere & Data Modeling
- Design and develop data models, views, and pipelines in SAP Datasphere
- Build and maintain data flows, replication flows, and transformations
- Integrate SAP and non-SAP data sources into Datasphere
- Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization
SAP BW / BW4HANA Development
- Develop and maintain InfoProviders (ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views)
- Create and optimize ETL processes using DTPs, Transformations, and Process Chains
- Design and maintain reporting layers for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other BI tools
- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
BDC (Batch Data Communication) & Data Migration
- Develop and support BDC programs for data upload and migration
- Handle legacy data migration and data validation processes
- Work with LSMW and other migration tools where applicable
- Troubleshoot data load failures and ensure data accuracy
Integration & Data Engineering
- Integrate SAP BW/Datasphere with external systems (Snowflake, Azure, APIs, etc.)
- Collaborate with integration teams using tools like Boomi, CPI, or Informatica
- Support real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines
Support & Collaboration
- Provide production support and resolve data-related issues
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
- Document technical designs, processes, and best practices
- Mentor junior developers and guide offshore/onshore teams

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SAP BW / BW4HANA development
- Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (data modeling, data flows)
- Strong experience with BDC, LSMW, or data migration tools
- Expertise in ETL processes, data modeling, and performance tuning
- Experience integrating SAP with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake)
- Strong SQL and ABAP knowledge
- Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA data models
- Exposure to SAP Data Intelligence or SAP CPI
- Knowledge of modern data warehousing concepts and data lake architectures
- Experience working in Agile delivery models
