Role Overview
The Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) team supports the technology that powers distribution centers and branch networks for North America. This role will focus on integration, defining and solving for business requirements, code development, and configuration across a wide range of technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes and technical integration between SAP and other applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, develop, deploy, optimize, monitor, and improve systems and business applications.
- Contribute to capability roadmaps and conduct technology research for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and deliverables.
- Partner with administration and operational teams to improve key service practices and document debt and waste.
- Build sustainable systems with monitoring and observability, with supportability in mind.
- Support team activities such as daily status meetings and pair with peers to work on stories.
- Regularly evaluate current business processes, applications, and systems to identify potential improvements.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of ABAP development experience in a broad range of hardware and software products, including SAP WM, SAP Stock Room Management, s/4 Hana EWM, and GTS. Experience with SAP HANA platforms and integration with external systems (WES/WCS) is required.
Technical Skills: Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills, with the ability to write and maintain code in ABAP. Proficient in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications. Experience with APIs, messaging languages, IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs. Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kafka, JSON, and Python.
- Experience across multiple technical and functional domains maintained by the team.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $95,000.00 to $158,400.00 annually. Benefits starting on day one include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans. Additional benefits include 18 paid time off days annually, 6 company holidays, a 6% company contribution to a 401(k) plan, employee discounts, and tuition reimbursement.
