Job Details

We are seeking a Tax Senior to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tax engagements with meaningful client interaction and increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns including:
Individuals (1040), including high-net-worth clients
Partnerships (1065)
S-Corporations (1120-S)
C-Corporations (1120)
Trusts & Estates (1041)
Analyze financial data and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
Work with multi-entity client structures and K-1 reporting
Communicate directly with clients to request information, resolve issues, and follow up on open items
Assist in identifying tax planning opportunities
Manage multiple engagements and meet filing deadlines
Conduct tax research and stay current on tax law updates
Review work of junior staff and provide guidance as needed

Qualifications:

3+ years of public accounting tax experience
Strong experience with 1040s and pass-through entities (1065, 1120-S)
Exposure to high-net-worth clients
Experience with trusts & estates (1041) is a strong plus
Generalist background preferred (not highly specialized)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
CPA license or actively pursuing
Experience with CCH Axcess or similar tax software required
