Engineer/Lead – Mobile Device Management (MDM)
8+ years in Mobile Device Management and Enterprise Mobility
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer/Lead – Mobile Device Management (MDM) with extensive experience managing large-scale mobile environments across corporate, retail, and distribution ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Intune, SOTI MobiControl, and Zoom Device Manager, along with strong automation, security, and cloud integration skills. This role requires close collaboration with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile Device Management & Operations
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise MDM solutions using Microsoft Intune, SOTI MobiControl, and Zoom Device Manager
- Support and manage iOS, iPadOS, Android, and rugged RF handheld devices across corporate, retail, and distribution environments
- Oversee the full mobile device lifecycle including enrollment, provisioning, compliance, patching, and decommissioning
- Implement and manage Apple DEP, Android Enterprise, and BYOD enrollment models
Security & Compliance
- Configure and enforce device compliance, Conditional Access, MFA, encryption, and DLP policies
- Integrate MDM platforms with Azure AD and Microsoft 365 for identity-based access control
- Implement remote wipe, secure application access, and mobile data protection strategies
- Collaborate with security teams to meet enterprise governance and compliance standards
Automation & Scripting
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate device enrollment, patching, compliance checks, and reporting
- Manage integrations with Azure AD, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Exchange, and Microsoft 365
- Support email, application, and profile deployments using Exchange ActiveSync and Intune policies
- Administer application packaging, deployment, and updates for enterprise and proprietary apps
Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for mobility-related incidents and escalations
- Troubleshoot device enrollment, compliance, application deployment, and performance issues
- Analyze logs and diagnostics across mobile platforms to ensure SLA compliance
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise mobility and MDM environments
- Experience supporting 500+ devices in global or multi-site deployments
- Strong background in automation, compliance, and device lifecycle management
Certifications (Preferred / Required)
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
- AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator
