Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business and technical requirements, with clear traceability to expected results.
- Validate ETL workflows, source-to-target mappings, transformations, full and incremental loads, data warehouse structures, reconciliation results, and data integrity using SQL-based testing.
- Test reports, dashboards, KPIs, calculations, filters, prompts, exports, drill-down and drill-through functionality, along with functional, integration, regression, smoke, negative, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Document and manage defects with reproducible evidence, perform retesting and verification, and collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, BI developers, and product owners to support quality releases.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

|
Experience
|
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, data/ETL testing, reporting validation, SQL-based testing, and test case execution.
|
|
Technical Skills
|
SQL, test planning and execution, data validation and reconciliation, ETL testing, data warehouse testing, reporting and dashboard testing, defect management, test management, functional and regression testing.
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
- Experience testing ETL and data warehouse solutions, including full, incremental, integration, and regression data loads and source-to-target validation.
- Hands-on experience validating fact and dimension tables, star and snowflake schemas, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1 and Type 2), historical data, and referential integrity.
- Experience testing enterprise reports and dashboards, including KPIs, calculations, filters, prompts, exports, drill-down, and drill-through functionality.
- Experience with batch jobs, file interfaces, error handling, job recovery, release verification, and production validation in data and reporting environments.
- Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira for test management, defect tracking, triage, retesting, and release-quality activities.
