Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Review business and technical requirements and develop test scenarios, test cases, test data, and testing approaches aligned with expected application functionality.
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing while documenting results and validating application behavior against requirements.
- Identify, document, prioritize, track, and retest defects with clear evidence and reproducible steps through the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues, validate fixes, and support successful software releases.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
Experience in software testing, quality assurance, test case execution, defect management, and application validation.
|
|
Technical Skills
|
Test planning, test case development, test execution, functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, defect tracking, test documentation, requirements traceability, quality assurance.
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
- Experience testing enterprise software applications across functional and system-level requirements.
- Experience developing and executing structured test scenarios, test cases, test data, and validation procedures.
- Experience performing functional, integration, regression, smoke, negative, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with defect lifecycle management, including documentation, prioritization, retesting, evidence collection, and closure.

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

|
