Travel Data Center Technician

Description

This role involves 75% nationwide travel and 25% work in the technician's home market.
A specialized team of L2 data center technicians is being assembled to support a large-scale fiber infrastructure upgrade project. This initiative focuses on replacing legacy coax cabling with fiber across multiple data center locations.
The team will act as a rapid deployment group, traveling to new sites to establish installation standards, workflows, and best practices during the first 6-8 weeks of each project. After successfully launching operations at one site, the team will transition to the next location and repeat the process.
During periods between deployments, technicians will support ongoing operations at a designated data center within their home market.
This role requires experienced data center technicians who can quickly step in, operate independently, and contribute immediately. Over time, additional entry-level technicians will be brought on to support long-term project completion.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
