Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Insurance Solutions Architect Application & Data with deep Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain expertise to design, govern, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing insurance technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end architecture for insurance applications and data platforms, work closely with business stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across onsite and offshore delivery teams to ensure successful execution of complex insurance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design

• Design end-to-end application and data architecture for P&C insurance systems, including Policy, Billing, Claims, Underwriting, Rating, and Customer platforms.
• Define target-state architecture, integration patterns, data flows, and solution blueprints aligned with business and IT strategy.
• Lead architecture decisions across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

Insurance Domain Leadership

• Apply strong P&C insurance domain knowledge across personal, commercial, and specialty lines.
• Support modernization and transformation initiatives such as the following:
• Core system modernization
• Digital distribution & customer portals
• Data & analytics platforms
• Regulatory and compliance-driven initiatives

Application & Integration Architecture

• Design and govern API-led, event-driven, and service-oriented architectures.
• Oversee integrations with internal and third-party systems (rating engines, document management, payment gateways, data providers).
• Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and secure.

Data Architecture & Analytics

• Define enterprise data architecture, including data models, data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data pipelines.
• Ensure data solutions support analytics, reporting, regulatory compliance, and AI/ML initiatives.
• Establish data governance, quality, lineage, and security standards.

Delivery & Collaboration

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and vendors.
• Work effectively in an onsite offshore delivery model, providing architectural guidance, reviews, and governance.
• Support Agile / SAFe delivery teams through architecture runway planning and design reviews.

Governance & Standards

• Define and enforce architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Participate in architecture review boards and technical steering committees.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and enterprise architecture guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications Insurance & Domain

• Strong hands-on experience in P&C insurance (policy, billing, claims, and underwriting).
• Experience working with insurance core platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek, or equivalents) is highly desirable.

Architecture & Technology

• Proven experience as a Solution / Application / Data Architect in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of:
• Microservices & API architecture
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Data platforms (RDBMS, NoSQL, data lakes, and Streaming)
• Integration tools and middleware

Delivery & Collaboration

• Experience working in global onsite offshore delivery models.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.

Methodologies

• Experience with Agile, SAFe, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud-native development, and automation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with insurance data standards and regulatory reporting.
• Exposure to AI/ML, advanced analytics, or automation in insurance.
• Architecture certifications (TOGAF, Cloud Architect certifications).
• Experience leading architecture for core system transformations.
