Location: Juno Beach, Florida (Onsite)

Role Overview

This position acts as the Owner's representative to oversee the receiving of owner-provided equipment for solar construction projects. The role is responsible for quality control, scheduling, data entry, and managing the punchlist for materials such as Modules, Racking, and Power Conversion Units. This position involves providing technical and financial support for project planning and ensuring pre-construction preparations are complete.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage material and vendor equipment, including overseeing the receipt of owner-provided equipment.
  • Record all material receipts in Unifier according to established processes.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on progress, quality control, and safety.
  • Perform walk-downs and inspections of owner-provided materials to ensure quality standards.
  • Interface with the project's designated safety, engineering, and quality control parties.
  • Ensure projects are implemented efficiently, effectively, and safely in accordance with department procedures, local regulations, and policies.
  • Support route development and refinement for gen tie projects, conduct field visits, and ensure pre-construction preparation.
  • Provide technical support for project planning, which includes reviewing plant design criteria, contract documents, and specifications.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Education: An Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.

Experience: A background in construction and materials with 3 years of similar experience is necessary. The role requires 6 - 10 years of experience supporting the technical and financial aspects of construction projects, including contractor oversight.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Unifier for data entry, document control, and project controls.
  • Strong computer skills including Outlook, PDF editing software, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with document control systems.
  • Effective organizational skills for progress reporting.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with third parties and suppliers.
  • An understanding of scheduling and planning principles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with geospatial applications such as Google Earth and/or GIS is preferred.
Work Environment

This role is based on a construction site for the duration of the project within the mainland U.S. Travel within the US is expected to be approximately 25%. Driving will be required as part of the position's duties.
